Union- Carrie-Ann Del Monico, 40, died on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Trinitas Hospital in Elizabeth. Born in Edison, Carrie-Ann lived most of her life in Point Pleasant and Brick before moving to Westfield and lastly, Union where she resided the past 9 years. Carrie- Ann was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, cooking and gardening with her daughter. She is survived by her beloved husband, Joshua DelMonico; daughters, Gabrielle Shea Del Monico of Union, Miranda Egbert and husband John of Boston; sisters, Heather Hoepfner of Blackwood, NJ, Carly Kipila of Howell, NJ; mother, Judith DeFilippo and step-father David of Brick, father, Edmund Kipila and wife Cathy of Absecon; mother-in-law, Joanne DelMonico and father-in-law, Gerry DelMonico of Westfield.  A funeral Mass was held Monday, November 10, 2014 at 10 AM Mass at St. Helens Church in Westfield, Burial followed at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery in Colonia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gabrielle’s College Fund.
