Middlesex- Angelina Zagari, 94, died peacefully on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Bridgeway Care Center in Hillsborough. Daughter of the late Agostino and Stella Zito, Angelina was born in Staten Island, NY and lived most of her life in Middlesex.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, baking and making holiday cookies for the entire family. She was predeceased by her husband, Stephen Zagari in 1969; son, Augustine Zagari in 1988; siblings, Theresa Zito, Gerry Zito and Frank Zito. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved children, Richard Zagari and wife, Mariann of Hillsborough, Dolores Harring and husband, Ron of Trinity, FL; 5 grandchildren, Stephen R. Zagari, Joseph A. Zagari, Richard M. Zagari, Veronica A. Harring, Ryan A. Harring;  great-grandson, Leonardo J. Zagari;  brother, Fred Zito and wife, Molly of Somerset; and sister-in-law, Dolores Zito of Rahway. Visiting hours will be held from 8:45AM until 9:45 AM on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807 followed by a 10 AM funeral mass at St. Mary’s Church in Bound Brook. Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Somerville.
