Natalie R. Walkoviak

Manville- Natalie R. Walkoviak, 85, died peacefully on Friday, January 11, 2019 at the Eastern Star Home in Bridgewater. Daughter of the late Peter and Mary Makaravage, Natalie was born in Wilkes Barre, PA, and lived most of her life in Manville. Natalie worked for Johnson & Johnson in Raritan. She was a Manville Borough Councilwoman and for 18 years, she served as president of the Manville Senior Citizens. Natalie was a communicant of Christ the Redeemer Parish in Manville and enjoyed bowling, travel and spending time with her family. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Leonard Walkoviak. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved children, Ronald Walkoviak and wife, Ruthann, Richard Walkoviak and wife, Ilene, Susan Barquero, Lorri O’Dell and husband, Erich, Robert Walkoviak and wife, Laura; brother, James Makaravage; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held from 5-8 PM on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. A funeral service will be held 9:30 AM on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the funeral home followed by burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.

I am very sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you in this difficult time. One encouraging thought you might find comforting is found at John 5:28, 29. “The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” God gives us this beautiful hope that he will soon resurrect our dead loved ones and we can see them again on a paradise earth! I hope this promise brings you comfort as it does me.
