Music by The Piano Brothers

Martin W. Bajor, Martinsville, New Jersey, 77 years old, lost his battle with cancer and passed away on December 26, 2018.   He was a resident of Hunterdon County, where he lived and owned a business for many years, prior to moving to Martinsville.   He leaves behind his canoe/kayak paddling partner of 30 years, Angela Prokopczyk, and her three adult children, Robert of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Susan of Holland Township, NJ, and Michael of Montclair, NJ, and a brother, Robert, of Martin’s Creek, Pennsylvania.   Martin worked for Burroughs in Warren, NJ as a Production Manager prior to opening his own electronics repair business, Rondo Electronics, in Hunterdon County.  And, more currently, he was employed by Smith’s Detection, Warren, NJ and ISG in East Hanover, NJ.   He also served in the United States Airforce for 4 years.

He was an active member in both the Hunterdon County Canoe Club and the Mohawk Canoe Club for many years.  He was an avid paddler and enjoyed outdoors camping near any body of water.  He was known for his great camp fires.  He will be sadly missed by all who knew him for his dry sense of humor.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Martin can be made to either Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah or Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.

Mohawk Canoe Club
   Posted Tue January 01, 2019
It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of Martin. He was a very active member of Mohawk Canoe Club for many years. He and Angela led many river trips and were often with us on river camping trips. I remember him paddling down the river with his pipe in his mouth leaving a trail of smoke. We have missed him and Angela on the river these past few paddling seasons. Rest in peace dear Martin. You will remain in our fond memories as we paddle down the rivers you loved.
