Bound Brook-


Theresa DePaolo, 85, loving mother of Gregory and Louis, entered eternal life peacefully on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at home. Daughter of the late Carmine and Consiglia Mortaruolo, Theresa was born in Bernardsville and resided in Bound Brook the past 60 years. She was a 1945 graduate of Bernardsville High School. Theresa was a homemaker and also worked part time as an accountant in her father’s business, “ Berkeley Bakery and Delicatessen” in Berkeley Heights until the family business was sold . Theresa was a member and former treasurer of the Bound Brook Seniors. Predeceased by her husband, Louis V. DePaolo (2001) and by her siblings Grace Mazzochi and Anthony Mortaruolo, she is survived by her two sons, Gregory J. DePaolo of Oak Ridge, NJ and Louis V. DePaolo, Jr. of Rockville, MD; sister, Carmella Barton; four grandchildren, Kimberley, Kelly, Lisa, and Danielle; two great-grandchildren, Kayla and Caleb. Visiting hours will be held Sunday, September 29, 2013 from 2-6 PM at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, in Bridgewater NJ. Prayers will be said 8:30 AM, Monday, September 30,2013 at the funeral home followed by a 9:30 am Mass at St. Joseph’s Church, Mountain Avenue, Bound Brook. Entombment will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park in Basking Ridge NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society

Dear Aunt Teresa, we met many years ago in Italy and I had a great liking for you lately wrote to me on facebook and it was a joy with all of those messages of love that you did, it was very nice because I shared them with my father.
Now we're no longer on this earth, but from up there watching us and pray for us.
